Graves County Jail Mugshots
The Graves County Bluehorse roster is built to show a booking image when a public image exists. The research inspected the roster's image behavior and found that the JavaScript first sets the image to a default user silhouette. If the public service returns image data, the roster changes the image source to a base64 JPEG. That means the public roster can display Graves County booking photos, but it also has a fallback image when no mugshot is returned. No official Graves County daily mugshot gallery, separate recent-bookings photo page, or stand-alone public mugshot feed was found in the official pages inspected. The current roster and Past Inmate panel are the main official online photo channels. The Past Inmate panel was public during research, and the Books 24hr control was available, but the source material did not establish a fixed retention period for how long a booking photo remains available after release.
Use factual terms when reading a Graves County jail mugshot. A booking photo means a person was photographed during booking or custody processing. It does not prove conviction. It can be connected to charges that are later amended, dismissed, reduced, or expunged through the court process.
Find Graves County Mugshots
The direct online path is the public Graves County Bluehorse roster. The official Graves County jail inmate page links to that vendor roster, and public access includes current and past inmate search. Once a matching person is selected, the image area may show a booking photo. If the public image service does not return a photo, the screen may show only the default user graphic.
- Open the Graves County jail inmate-search page, then open the Bluehorse roster link.
- Search the current list by first or last name, or use the Past Inmate tab for a released person.
- Select the matching profile and compare name, birth date, booking number, release date, and location code before relying on the result.
- Check the image panel. A booking photo may appear when the public image service returns one.
- If the photo is not visible, request the booking record or photo from the jail records custodian or the sheriff custodian, depending on which agency holds the record.

Graves County Photo Records
A Graves County mugshot appears beside other booking and custody fields, so the surrounding record is part of the photo context. The same public profile may include identifiers, demographics, charges, detainers, bond rows, incarceration data, court entries, and housing location. Public fields may be blank, redacted, or absent even when the system stores more data internally.

The field inventory also documented gender or sex, height, weight, race, hair color, eye color, skin tone, build, nationality, marital status, citizen status, and address fields. Many address and identifier fields were blank in public samples. Do not infer more than the public record shows.
Are Graves County Mugshots Public?
Kentucky's Open Records Act is the starting point for Graves County jail mugshots and booking-photo requests. KRS 61.872 gives Kentucky residents the right to inspect public records except as otherwise provided by law. That does not mean every photo is online, nor does it mean every record can be released without redaction. Juvenile records, medical details, protected personal information, active-investigation material, and sealed or expunged records can be limited.

KRS 61.8746 is especially important for mugshot removal issues. The statute targets commercial use when a booking photograph or official inmate photograph is posted in a publication or on a website and removal requires payment or other consideration. It creates a court remedy and damages schedule. It is not a promise that every official booking image vanishes from every public agency system after release.
Graves County Mugshot Retention
The official research did not locate a published Graves County retention period for how long mugshots stay visible in Bluehorse after release. Past-inmate access was enabled, and the Books 24hr control was available, but those facts do not prove a fixed 24-hour-only rule. A released person may leave the current inmate list while still being searchable in the past-inmate panel, or a public profile may lack an image even if a booking record exists.
What is and isn't public: The roster is designed to display a booking image when public image data is returned. A missing image, blank tab, or default silhouette does not prove that no booking photo exists.
For a time-sensitive issue, call the Graves County Jail and Restricted Custody Center at 270-247-9829. If the question is about a sheriff arrest report or a photo held with a sheriff case file, use the sheriff's records process instead of the jail custodian. If the question is about court sealing or expungement, the court record controls the legal status.
Request Graves County Booking Photo
A written records request is the fallback when a Graves County booking photo is not visible online. Jail records requests go to ATTN: Open Records Request, Graves County Jail, 150 South Jenkins St, Mayfield, KY 42066, or by fax to 270-247-9856. The jail page requires a signed and dated request with address, phone number, and enough detail to identify the record. The jail's published copy charge is ten cents per page, paid before copies are received or mailed.
Sheriff records use a separate process. Sheriff Jon Hayden's sheriff open-records page lists Chief Deputy Jeremy K. Prince as official custodian at the Graves County Sheriff's Office, 1102 Paris Road Suite 6, Mayfield, KY 42066. The page lists phone 270-247-4501, fax 270-247-7674, and email jprince@gravescountyky.gov. Requests may be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed. Written sheriff records are ten cents per page, while nonwritten records such as photographs, video, or computer files may involve a $7 USB flash drive or actual production cost.

Remove Graves County Mugshot
Mugshot removal is not the same as deleting a news article, a private web post, or a public court case. For official Graves County records, the legally meaningful path is the court and records process. KRS 431.076 governs expungement for certain acquittals, dismissals, and cases that did not result in indictment or information. When an eligible court record is expunged, agencies may remove or delete official records according to the order and the statute.
If the court case was dismissed, acquitted, or otherwise resolved in a way that might qualify, start with the Graves County court record. The Graves Circuit Court Clerk can advise record location and availability, but legal eligibility is a court and legal question. After a valid expungement order, the person may need to follow up with the jail or sheriff custodian to make sure official booking and arrest records are handled under the order.
Do not use a commercial removal demand as a substitute for court expungement or a proper records request. Kentucky's booking-photo commercial-use law addresses fee-for-removal practices, but it does not rewrite the official court record on its own.
County and State Photos
Graves County jail mugshots are local booking images tied to the jail or arrest record. Kentucky Online Offender Lookup is different. KOOL is the statewide Department of Corrections locator for sentenced or state-classified people and may show offender photos, current facility, DOC/PID numbers, and offense categories. A person can move from local jail custody into state DOC custody after sentencing, so a photo or custody status may shift from the local roster to the state system.

Federal and ICE Photos
Federal and immigration custody do not use the Graves County mugshot path unless the person was first booked locally and the local agency created a releasable booking photo. The BOP inmate locator searches federal inmates incarcerated from 1982 to present, but it is not a Graves County booking-photo gallery. ICE's locator searches immigration custody by A-number or biographical information, and USA.gov notes an EOIR phone fallback for immigration court case status.
If a local Graves roster shows a federal hold, immigration hold, or detainer, use the roster for the local custody fact and the federal or immigration system for the nonlocal custody status. A federal hold does not mean the Graves County roster will publish a federal mugshot, and a federal locator result does not supply a county booking photo.
